Originally for the education sector, but recently expanded to other sectors, Denham Procurement & Sourcing Solutions have provided Procurement Maturity Assessments and other procurement team efficiency reviews to many further education authorities across England.
We undertook a procurement review for a university on the South Coast of England in late 2018, the initial stage of the appointment was an in-depth review of the capability of the procurement function from procurement strategy, tender management, stakeholder engagement, supply chain management, sphere of responsibility and reporting, team capacity and the end-to-end P2P systems. We were able to identify some significant opportunities for the procurement team to move from a tactical to strategic function. We also assisted them with improving tendering systems and processes, P2P and the strategy for estate procurement.
